Construction cost 

Whenever desired, we can draw cost calculations on each SCFB type. In case a tailor made design is required, we will take in all concerned conditions like the soil, road and traffic loads,  dike or quay conditions, employment of a service pit, number of connections, height, length etc.

One of the main feature of the SCFB is the cost at the long run. Most flood barriers need a service staff to setup and dismantle the barriers. The cost on the long-term are therefor tremendous. The setting up and dismantling of the SCFB cost nothing. Also the maintenance of the SCFB is low. The barriers that are installed more than 10 year ago didn’t need any maintenance till now. The barrier is made of durable materials and no part can wear out.  Therefor the SCFB is in the long run cheaper than all other barriers.
